Service Desk Manager
Up to £40,000 per annum + bonus + benefits
The CPS Group currently have an exciting opportunity for a Service Desk Manager to join a growing company based in Swansea. The opportunity will be well suited to an experienced Service Desk Manager looking for a new challenge, whilst it could also be a great opportunity for an experienced Team Leader looking to take the next step in their career.
Reporting directly into MD, you will be tasked with managing the performance of the IT Service Desk to deliver excellent support to clients.
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to -
-Managing a team of 4 Service Desk Analyst including setting objectives, completing appraisals and identifying training needs
-Leading, mentoring and assisting the IT service desk team to deliver excellent client service, ensuring all service level agreements are met
-Building relationships with key internal users throughout the firm
-Managing the provision of 1st and 2nd line ICT support
-Managing and co-ordinating the response to urgent and complicated support issues
-Ensuring users are kept informed of any problems that may delay the provision of a solution
-Proactively identifying any process changes or other resourcing required to deliver a timely, friendly, professional and efficient service to the firm
-Maintaining and encouraging the IT service desk team to update their knowledge base
-Working closely with another member of the IT management team
-Maintaining the firm’s asset management system
-Experience with Networking (Wired and Wireless) highly desirable!
