My client based in Bristol, are currently seeking an experienced 1st Line Engineer to join a busy Service Desk. We are seeking an experienced, dynamic engineer who can support the UK business units, with a proven track record of IT Support in an enterprise environment.
** The successful candidate must be self motivated, and demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and troubleshooting skills **
Role & Responsibilities
• Support UK-wide user base from the Help Desk
• Taking calls and troubleshooting IT issues and problems
• Escalating calls through the relevant 2nd/3rd Line channels when necessary
• Desktop support
• Telephony and remote access support
• New user provisioning and fulfilment
• IT equipment replacements
Technical Knowledge & Experience
• Experience of working on a busy Service Desk – in an enterprise environment
• Windows 7 & Windows 10
• Microsoft Office Suite (2010/2016) – Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc…
• Printing and Scanning
• Remote desktop application support
• Client Side VPN
• Ability to think pragmatically, and troubleshoot IT issues independently
